  1. How far back can we go before we can report tenants to the credit bureau?

    • Debts reported as collection accounts may be reported to the credit bureaus up to seven years.

  2. Do you have to have the persons social security number?

    • You don’t have to have one, but it is helpful. How did you screen your tenant without their SSN?

  3. Can I report a tenant that is constantly late on the rent? Rent is due by the 5th, sometimes it’s not paid until the 25th! Now the renter wants to move out because they think they are going to be able to “buy” a house because they have decent credit.

    • You will need to wait until they move out before you report them. You must wait 30 days after move out before you may begin. Sorry I couldn’t be more help. Have you considered evicting them?

  4. Thank you for your response.
Can you recommend an organization that can do it for us?

  5. can you reporting good intent history and bad debt as well or what
